Got round to seeing the movie this weekend.
I'm still trying to get my head round a few things.
Without a doubt a fantastic film, even brought a tear to this hard-faced-rock.
There was just so much information and i felt a little embarrassed that i didn't know about him and all his work before this movie.
What's you thoughts my love?
Same here sweet cheeks, so absolutely no need to worry. I felt completely overwhelmed after seeing it. How could one person achieve so much and me not know anything about them. In 2003 I remember sitting down at a PC and reading up on my gay history. The information I uncovered was mainly based around the London scene and of course the stonewall riots. I literally sat there for one hour reading and remember nothing about Harvey Milk. All we can do is take a deep breath and remember, at least we know now.
ReplyDeleteThere is a young gay boy at work and I recommend he go and see this movie. His response was 'Oh, I'm not one of those gays. Why would I need to see that'. My response was simple and perfect 'Because without this person you wouldn't be mincing down the street to work without getting a slap'.
We didn't exactly have it hard when we were that age, but it wasn't as easy or fashionable as it is now. All one can say is WANKER!
